Going Hog-Wild with Interviews

Dear Subscriber,

In the last few days, I suddenly went hog-wild doing radio
interviews, and thought I should give out the links here.

1) On the Corbett Report, the topic was "government" as a religion--
which it is. The podcast, with an excerpt from my chat with him,
can be found here:

The Corbett Report

The entire interview with me can also be found on his site.

2) For the second time now I was on Red Ice Radio, out of Sweden,
which seems to have a pretty far reach, all over the world. Here's
the link for that show:

Red Ice Radio

3) And today I was on with the Freedom Feens, and even though I was
only supposed to be on for the first hour, we were having too much
fun, so they roped me into both hours. Here's the link:

In other news... I'm too tired to type other news right now. There
will soon be more YouTube videos to come.

"It Can't Happen Here!"

1) Though the DVD version has been delayed a bit, I think it's very
close to completion--in normal format and high-resolution. All pre-
orders will be filled as soon as I have the disks.

2) Alex Jones has now created a web page for the entries for the
Paul Revere video contest. ("It Can't Happen Here!" was my entry in
that contest.) After the page was first posted, a few people asked
why my video was nowhere to be found. It was just because they had
a lot of videos to put up there. It's there now, and here is the
page, if you want to view it, rate it, whatever:

http://www.infowars.com/paulrevere/

Again, Alex is the only judge of the contest, so there's no vote
for that, for those who wondered.

3) Again, the disk version is an improved version of what you see
there, with a couple typos fixed, but more importantly, with more
time provided for reading the on-screen quotes. But because it was
a contest, I couldn't post the improved version there. If you want
to watch it online in high resolution, it's also on Vimeo.

4) Even though "It Can't Happen Here!" never really gets to the
underlying philosophical issue of voluntaryism, I think it can
still serve as a major wake-up call for a lot of Americans, and so
far, I've gotten a lot of very positive response.

"It Can't Happen Here!" on DVD

Dear Subscriber,

I'm getting close enough now to finishing the DVD version of "It
Can't Happen Here!" that I'm going to start taking pre-orders for
it (which I kind of need to do anyway to fund my trip to Porcfest
next week). For those who haven't yet seen the video, or for those
who saw "version 1" of it, the IMPROVED version (with a couple
typos fixed, and more time given for reading on-screen quotations)
can be viewed here:

https://vimeo.com/66252063

I'll be releasing TWO versions: a standard DVD version, which will
probably have English and Spanish subtitles, and a high resolution
(1280 by 720) version which will play on Blu-Ray players, even
though it's burned on a standard DVD disc.

Even though "It Can't Happen Here!" does NOT go into depth about
the voluntaryist philosophy, I think it makes a pretty darn good
philosophical kick in the pants to those mainstream Americans who
continue to hallucinate freedom and American exceptionalism. It
would be interesting to see the response if people want to put on a
showing of it for two, ten, or a hundred of their friends. (If you
want to charge admission, be my guest.) And I'm trying to keep it
cheap enough that it can be spread all over the place. Here are the
pre-order prices:

STANDARD (720 by 480) DVD version:
ONE copy for $10
THREE copies for $20
TEN copies for $50

HIGH-DEF (1280 by 720) version (for Blu-Ray players or computers):
$15 each

Again, at this point these would be PRE-orders, and it may take up
to three weeks (I'll probably use July 4th as the official release
date) to get them printed and shipped out. But to have the money to
make them at all, and to get to Porcfest, I sort of need to start
taking orders now. So for anyone who wants to pre-order, please be
quick about it. Right now, before it's even up on the web site, you
can either fling me payment via PayPal to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."
(be sure to include a note giving the address for where to send the
DVDs), or by "snail mail" (check, money order, cash, whatever) to
this address:

Larken Rose
P.O. Box 653
Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006

The prices above already include shipping. Once the video is out, I
expect the price to go up a couple bucks. So only expect this deal
to apply for the next few days--so I can make the DVDs and so I can
get to Porcfest.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

Wanted: Obama and Bush Impersonators

ash: SHA1

Dear Subscriber,

I'm working on a strange project, and need someone to do voice
impersonations (doesn't matter what you look like) of Obama and
George Bush. If you can do one or both, let me know. I don't have
much to bribe you with, but I'll do what I can. So if you can do a
good voice impression of either (or both) of them, let me know.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

"It Can't Happen Here!" on DVD

Dear Subscriber,

A bunch of people have asked if "It Can't happen Here!"--the video
I just finished and posted on my web site--will be available in DVD
format. Yes, it will, hopefully very soon. And I'll be selling them
in bulk, for really dang cheap, to get it out as far as possible. I
think it's actually a message that is even mainstream-compatible.
For those who haven't seen it, here's the link:

Now, two minor mistakes have already come to my attention: on one
quote I left out one of the "B"s in Goebbel's name (the bastard
deserved it!), and another quote is attributed to Noah Webster when
it should have been Daniel Webster (oops). Anyway, I'll fix these
things before making the DVD master, but it occurred to me to
quickly make this offer: whoever is first to find any other typo in
the video will get a free bunch of DVDs (maybe five or ten) of the
video. But it has to be within the next two or three days. And
don't be fishing too hard for nit-picky things to complain about; I
really just want to know if there are any other obvious errors in
the video, before I print a bunch of DVDs of it.

I've been quite pleased by the 8,000+ views the video has gotten in
the past few days. For the contest, Alex Jones' vote is the only
one that counts, but it can't hurt to have lots of views and likes
on it. Also, I happen to think it's a pretty damn good video. But
then, I might be biased.

As a final note, some are complaining that Alex Jones is a statist,
an alarmist, etc. While I have my own disagreements with Alex,
philosophical and factual, I don't at all believe he's a government
plant, as some claim. Considering the fact that he has interviewed
Stefan Molyneux and Lew Rockwell on his show, whatever I think of
some of his opinions and views, I don't at all believe he's a
shill. And considering the size of his audience, the more he can be
nudged in the direction of voluntaryism, the better.

Sincerely,

Larken Rose

Dear List Subscriber,

For the past four weeks I've been working pretty much non-stop on a
huge video project, which I just posted last night--all of one hour
before the deadline. This was a video I was already planning to do,
but when I heard about the "Paul Revere" video contest being put on
by Alex Jones, I thought this would be a good fit.

This video isn't just me ranting at a camera for five minutes. This
is a feature-length documentary, and a major production effort
(despite my production budget of zero dollars and zero cents), on
the topic of tyranny, and how Americans love to say "it can't
happen here!" Anyway, with no further ado, here it is. I would say
"enjoy," but it's not exactly an enjoyable topic.
